A special feature of Hanoi’s geography is that there are many lakes and big rivers. Hoan Kiem Lake is located in the heart of the city . It has a small turet lying in the middle of the lake. Next to Hoan Kiem Lake are impressive buildings and valuable treasures of the city: Pen tower, The Huc bridge leading to Dac Nguyet or Tran Ba ​​temple … on the way to Ngoc Son temple .

This is a place of Confucius worship and also the first university of Vietnam in the past. Today, the temple of literature becomes a popular destination of Hanoi tourism. It is a place of merit  for students who have excellent achievement. The students often come here to pray before the exam.

Hanoi is the center of Buddhism and Buddhism in Vietnam. So there are many temples with hundreds of years. The most famous is one-pillar pagoda architecture can be said that most unique in Vietnam. This is also an attractive tourist destination when traveling to Hanoi. In addition, there is Tran Quoc Pagoda, a long ancient pagoda built from the reign of  Ly Nam De King (6th century)

West Lake

West Lake: located not far from the city center, it is the largest lake in Hanoi. You can rent a water bike or take a boat trip around the lake. When the sun sets, you will see a especially beautiful view.

Next to the West Lake is the ancient village of Nghi Tam, where it retains some Hanoi’s old delights. Nghi Tam is also a flower village. Fresh flowers will fill all around the village every spring. Near West Lake area, there are Ngu Xa village with bronze casting traditions and Yen Phu village with incense making. They are interesting places to visit when traveling to Hanoi.

This is the place where his body is located and kept. The mausoleum is opend five days a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.  Visitors will certainly comply with requirements of the mausoleum, for example, dress appropriately, not self-recording,etc..
